In 1974, the original camp was built by Ray Munson (owned camp 42 at that time) for Dave and Nancy Spencer. The property was originally owned by Dave’s parents who purchased it from Gerald Taylor in 1944. In 2001, the Spencers had their camp moved back 100 feet (by Dave Rogers) to become the second floor of a new garage. Dan Crawford then built the new year round house on a new foundation. In 2001, the Spencers became full time residents of Groton. In 2011, the porch was converted to a dining room and a portion of the deck to a porch.
